A Pair of VR40s and a VR10

New Grill Cloth Included To Recover The VR40s Due To A CAT!

The VR40 is the top of the line in the Lynnfield VR Series and is a reference standard 4-driver, 3-way ported system. The tweeter is the crystal clear 1” aluminum dome AMD tweeter still used in all Boston high-end products. It is mated with a wide-dispersion 5.25” midrange driver optimized to handle the musical spectrum critical to vocals and lead instruments.

A pair of 7” DCD woofers deliver a very solid bottom end. Cabinet construction is top notch on these beauties. Internally, the mid-range driver has its own sub-enclosure and there is extensive use of windowpane bracing that in combination with the 1” thick front baffle eliminates cabinet resonance and its coloration of sound.

The cabinet is finished in a furniture-grade Black Ash wood veneer (some nicks and dings). There are high-end bi-wire input binding posts that will accept about any wire you want to use to connect these to your system.
